HISTORY

REDTABLE built its inbound business on big data analytics, providing data-driven tourism and dining services for international visitors to Korea. Based on this foundation, the company expanded its capabilities into medical tourism and launched Medical Travel Korea.

Milestones

  • 2011 Red Table was founded and began its global tourism platform business.
  • 2012 Launched a review analysis-based tourism and dining information service.
  • 2014 Won the Presidential Award at the Public Data Startup Competition and secured KRW 500 million in seed funding.
  • 2016 Formed partnerships with major Chinese OTAs and expanded its global multilingual content and sales network.
  • 2017 Selected as a tourism venture company, received the Presidential Commendation, and expanded OTA partnerships across Southeast Asia.
  • 2018 Selected as Ctrip’s Korea partner and advanced its AI translation and mobile payment technologies.
  • 2019 Selected for the Smart Food Tourism Big Data Center project and built a database of 100,000 menu items.
  • 2020 Selected as the operator of the Korea Tourism Organization’s food tourism platform and achieved KRW 320 million in transaction volume.
  • 2022 Secured KRW 2 billion in Series A funding, bringing cumulative investment to KRW 2.5 billion, and launched the Korea Travel Card.
  • 2024 Officially registered as a foreign patient attraction agency with the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
  • 2025 Launched Medical Travel Korea, establishing a foundation with 350 hospital partners, patients from 110 countries, and 100,000 monthly active users
